Hey All,

First time posting here, hoping someone can shed some light for me.

I am looking to replace the old JVC stereo in our 05 SX230 with the Fusion RA70. I am curious will the wired controllers on the swim platform and near the steering column still work, or will I have to also replace those with the Fusion MS-NRX300 Wired remote? And if I have to replace, does anyone know of the wiring currently existing, hoping I don't have to run new wiring but if I have to I'll figure it out.

Any help would greatly be appreciated! Happy boating

The head units and remotes can’t be mixed and matched between brands. In addition to or instead did a wired fusion remote ($300) consider their wireless models at $50 each.

I ran new remotes with wiring to both locations. It's really not that hard. Get some zip ties and route the new wire the same way the old wire goes.
