Hey!! After hibernating for the winter haha I am back as the lakes begin to thaw!
So I was thinking hypothetically the other day, would there be a way to have your yamaha re-cetrtified by the NMMA or whoever to classify it as a "yacht" so that you could bring aboard as many people as you see fit? It wouldn't be to bring dozens aboard, but maybe that one extra person on a slow evening cruise around the bay. In an article I read it said that there are regulations of build and design up to 20' but over 26' there are few if any guidelines, and thus many are yacht certified. I can't verify any of that info but here was the link http://themarineinstallersrant.blogspot.com/2012/07/yacht-certified-whats-that-mean.html
Just a thought, let me know what y'all think!
