Yamaha 252 tower zone on radio

Anyone figure out how to enable the tower zone for the Yamaha 252 non X? Looking at adding some recon 8 tower speakers and amp to the otherwise good speakers and see if there is a way to enable the tower zone on the radio. Thx.
 
I am working on it - need someone with a 255 to help out though.
 
you will need an amp for them, get wetsounds dsp eq you will also need speaker wire to rca converter, which 252 se?

Most modern amps don't need a LOC.
 
If the connext screen does not let you control 4 zones than you can not (just enable it) Yamaha has this audio system locked down.
The maker of the Conext screen / our built-in headunit it is very sensitive to the load on its RCA outputs. if you do not use a LOC (like a LC1 audio control) set to 200ohm it will disable those channels.

That is not true at all. I’ve hooked amps directly to low level out of the connext and it’s worked fine.

@jacoviii could you take a picture of the pin outs from your 12"?
