I think we can believe he is there, it's when we hear the story of "they took me out to the gulf fishing in it and we got chased by pirates" or "we were fishing and I hooked this marlin, had him up to the boat and then he broke the line......" (oh, sorry @MikeyL that type of story may be acceptable on beautiful Lake Oconee?)
Starboard side fishing rod holders.
Notice the rubber grommets that allow longer rods to stow into the forward strorge areas
LARGE anchor locker
Two storage areas that are quite large. Under the cushion is a built in cooler.
WIDE ledge to make walking around the entire boat a breeze
Lockable storage at helm
Jet wash button activates the water to flow to the hose at the stern for wash downs
Dual battery storage and battery switches -- note stainless steel shock
Engine hatch. It lifts the entire helm bench and cooler under the bench.
Clean out plug and bilge access
Rod holders and stereo speakers -- same on port side
Rear starboard hatch contains the aerated bait well
Starboard flip up seat and storage underneath
Lots of Rod holders in gunnel. Under helm bench cooler
First impression is .... Well done Yamaha! They really hit a homer with this boat. Considering its small size, this boat is full of big features. It does not feel like a 19' boat to me.
I've got more boats to look at so I will elaborate on details a little bit later.
A bigger cc boat may be green lighted if this line sells well.
The price point is not bad as compared to others. At the show did they say anything about why this boat is better than any other CC out there? I was curious on the marketing POV.
