Yamaha new boat release at 11am. It is the 2016 Yamaha 190 FSH - Live Coverage

Im surprised I would be saying this but its a little too much fish and not enough family friendly.

I'm pretty happy with the boat and look forward to getting our first ones!

If I was still into fishing back country and still lived in SWFL this would be a perfect boat. Well done Yamaha!

I like the standard dual batteries. The storage looks to be well done-but perhaps small (hard to tell in the pics).

How about trolling motor mount and trolling motor battery storage?
Is there anywhere you could put a pair of skiis or a wakeboard?

This pic shows a trolling motor mounted on a 190 FSH Sport. The specs say that all three models have "Trolling motor wire channeling".

I'm not real sure about shallows with thes boat. I mean 1 ft of water and your going to be sucking all kinds of crap up Just like our boat. I mean they are great for going full speed in a ft if water but stop and there will be issues. At least a outboard can be raised. Fishing in 2-3 ft or more of water these boats will be awesome . just my opinion.

Trolling motors can be mounted on the deck and a chair in the bow if needed. There is a space provisioned in the head area to house 2 batteries in order to run a 24 volt system. 24 volt would be needed to power a motor of adequate size to control a big boat with a cc.

You would use your trolling motor or pole in 1 foot even in an outboard.

That's suprising, being a 2016 I was thinking they wouldn't be available until the following year at least late fall of 2015.
I saw the "for display purposes only" picture on the first page and figured they hadn't received all the gov't/coast guard approvals yet and wouldn't be taking orders yet.

I copied this image off the first set posted in this thread. The sticker on the window says "manufactured by JET Technologies Inc."

did they change the company that makes them? I thought it was Yamaha Jet Boat Mfg.

@Murf'n'surf are you still at the show?

This. Is. AWESOME! I really hope they expand into bigger models! (And bigger sx/ar/ls models too!)

I bet that Jet Technologies manufactured the glass.

that's a confusing coincidence, but it sounds reasonable,
