Bimini 2015 - July 6th to 11th

I have hours of footage from all days. I even have a 19 minute clip where I didn't realize the gopro was still on that includes about 10 minutes of footage around one of the boats that almost sank as we waited for the coast gaurd. I hope to edit some of it this weekend and post it. I only have clips from about 3/4 of the crossing as the go pro died and I didn't have the second battery with me on the ski as I didn't expect a 5 hour crossing.

as odd as this sounds, I would really like to see all of it unedited. just to get a feel for what its like visually in its entirety (even 3/4 of it!)

Where there any locals bringing fresh conch to Bimini Sands or did you have to go to the other island to get that?

Got good conch soup upstairs in restaurant. A few paid maintenance men to bring them conch. If you wanted to get it yourself, needed to take ferry to North Bimini

Bimini Sands is stil without Internet. We had a fun day finding the Hesperus wreck but decided their were too many barracuda and shark around it to snorkel. We got some go pro footage from the boat then had a picnic on the beach on the East Side of North Bimini. We are finishing up the day at Mackey's.

Bimini Sands was refueled today.

As for Conch they are everywhere in the water if you know how to open them.

Turn your tracking on, on your GPS to leave a bread crumb trail. Bruce is using another device for what you see. I'm sure he will fill you in next time he signs on.

It is really shallow over there. That is where the Sharks grow and the locals harvest conch. We went as far south as you can safely go on the East side of Bimini today.

That is from our DeLorme Inreach that reports our postition every 10 minutes.
