Completed 2015 SeaDek Group Buy

Ordered and paid...Now I'm salivating and pacing in front of the mailbox!

Called with CC number and confirmed order! Any thoughts on the best time to install? Does the sticky stick better at a certain temperature? Wait until warmer spring time or sneak it in before winter...

Over 60F, apparently, and the warmer the better. It's going to kill me to wait until spring! (I just may rip off the old swim deck crap now anyway...!)

Im in! Sent the email to will for cockpit and swim deck kits. Will call and pay tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat (pun intended) with ours here in Connecticut. I've pulled up most of my existing pads, yanked the carpets, then 5200'd the snap holes. She's lookin' bare!

Yes glue adheres best at temps above 60 degrees F.

Isopropyl alcohol or acetone to decontaminate the floors? I seem to remember reading somewhere that acetone leaves a residue behind where IPA does not (especially the 90%).

Would someone be able to direct me to a picture of a 190 with the brushed/non teaked version in gray. I see the teaked version on the web site but can't seem to find the brushed version installed. Thanks.

I used Xylene to remove the glue when I did my swim deck last year and it was easy to work with, no residue.

@JetBoatPilot Will, with just a couple days left for people to get in on this awesome deal...any chance of an update on where we stand officially? Hope everyone who is on the fence with this one jumps on board quickly!

Tried to call in, had to leave a msg... guess they're getting busy! Get your orders in, they may have limited people to answer phones it seems.

I believe the old mats come off more easily when cold. So it might be helpful to remove the old when the temperature is colder then install once it is above 60.

Just completed order, great price.

I am on the fence.
My wife really loves the factory carpet and although she likes the look of the Seadek she doesn't think it would be as comfortable.
Plus she thinks I'm crazy to consider spending $800 on a bunch of flat slabs of foam.

I love the look of the Seadek, I think it would add a perfect amount of class to the boat.

I asked if one of the optional pieces could be substituted for the dash piece and was told no substitutions. I hate to call him out on it, and I understand this is a very nice 30% discount but I mean come on, they can't possibly lose any money if they were to allow substitutions for the few folks that want it.

I don't understand this dash piece. Why would you want a piece of flooring on the dash? Would it look nice? Sure. Would it look out of place? I think so.

I've still got a few days to ponder this one, but for the reasons above I may be leaning towards spending my $800 elsewhere.

I'm a little confused on the dash piece you are talking about. The only piece that I would consider a dash piece is the one that goes on top of the head compartment, otherwise I don't know of any piece that goes on the helm.

I believe he wants to substitute the port side storage head compartment "top" for the engine step most likely.

also I see we have the same boat a 2008 AR230, the carpet is not really that nice IMO, I do like that it covers the seams on the fuel door outside of that, the seadek is much softer plush feel. Even more so than the factory rear hydro-turf which I hate to sit on now, which is why I choose the border only so I don't have to feel the lines when I sit for long periods.

Dustoff look here at GTBRMC's post, it might help you off the fence, it did for me but I did pay more to combine some pieces.
