It was a pleasure seeing so many Jetboater's in action during the crossing. It is pure poetry in motion. Trim tabs will certainly be on my list of todo for next year. I will post videos of the return crossing.@Julian That's awesome. It was such a pleasure to finally meet you up in person, you and your brother. I think Alister thought you well, he seems like an older brother I always wanted!
We were crossing a bit faster and seeing mostly 30s, with several stops and all. I admit I sped up a little bit towards the end (but still under 40) as I did not want to hold @tim h back in Harbor Towne - as he was ferrying Kate and Gosia, our youngest. So we ended up making pretty good time with @Amar Nanduri, @Jadams0527, @fromrio, and (I think) @jayasaki138.
I must admit I cheated a bit - and used my tabs throughout.

The trim tabs make a huge difference. Hopefully Trudy will post footage she took from @tim h boat. I had several other also remark on how much smoother my 240 was riding. Almost zero time up in the air.

thanks. I have a good fiberglass guy who is honest and fair. I'll get it reglassed. After seeing all the new AR240's with dual captain chairs and the hindged seats, I'll likely trade it in this year or next for a new one
I don't think he has trim tabs on his truck, so most likely no, too much bouncing.
