@jcsmith77 I'll go SeaDek at some point, but for now the carpet looks very good--almost new. Thanks gain.

I did not get the chance to install the JBP Thrust Vectors this weekend. All the rain up in Dallas has water up about 2' above normal on Lake Livingston. I need to get in the water with my waders to install, and right now the water at the rear of the boat is about going to be over my head.

Also selling my Bayliner... many tire kickers this weekend. Price will be very aggressive starting this Thursday... got to get it out of my garage.

Why I want the Bayliner gone... my garage is now:

- Bayliner Capri 2050
- (2) Yamaha SUV VX110 Conversion Skis
- Yamaha VX110
- Kawasaki 550SX Stand-Up
- Kubota zero turn mower
- (3) bicycles, workshop, washer/dryer, tons of VX110 and Kawi 15F parts, and lots of other junk I can't live without!

Garage is less cluttered--sold the Bayliner yesterday! Ha!

I installed the thrust vectors from JBP. I was able maneuver the boat into my slip in some pretty good chop MUCH better than before. It actually steers pretty well at idle whereas before there was almost zero steering. Still not quite as good as my old stern drive, but close.

I installed the thrust vectors with the boat in the water, and accidently dropped one of the metal sleeves on the spring side into the water--tried to find it but could not. Fortunately was able to make due with stacking all four of the OEM sleeves that came off each reverse bucket.

We go to Pine Island often. It is close. Always nervous heading up to the north end of the lake because of all the stumps. We used to have a Four Winns stern drive so we were really nervous because it had such a much deeper draft than our Yamaha!
@captras we took a ride late Friday from my area near White Rock to within a couple of miles of the 190 bridge. Sometime over the last couple of weeks, the TRA has placed many new channel markers along the Trinity, making it very easy to navigate. It's almost like a runway now.

Keeping up with the thread... just installed a new OEM Bimini Top. Seems to be good quality.

I've been reading many threads on soundproofing, and that the biggest bang for the buck recommendation is foam in the water/drip groove around the engine hatch. I ordered this foam with a sticky backing. It was smaller than I thought I was getting--only 3/8" wide, and 3/16" thick with a sticky back. I thought no way this is going to do anything, but have nothing to lose.

I lined the groove, and it is AMAZING how much it cuts down the sound. Wow. At 7000 RPM we can have a normal conversation in the cockpit. I am blown away at how that little bit--took me all of 5 minutes can make such a huge improvement.
