You had how much weight total?
I am hoping I can do something to start like the 870 on back, 800 under port seat 200-300in now and 400 or so in starboard locker.
Hard to say because the connexts shows % so I am guessing here. 870 on the rear, 700 under the seat, 250to 300 in the locker, 300 to 400 under the starboard seat. Needed about 200 more in the nose.

It's out for delivery today. I'll be testing this weekend.
I'll be out on Mitchell on Friday and possibly the weekend too. If you're out there and see me come say hey.

Got to do some surfing this weekend and put the new bag to the test. We only filled it once and then used it the rest of the day, so I didn't get multiple tries filling it up. It is difficult to fill it properly so that it maintains it's shape on the deck. We filled it with the bag strapped from the port stern cleat to the lower tow point. Next time, I'll try to tie up the top of the bag so it's held in place while filling. I think that will be a better fill. With all of that said, the overall idea of improving the wake is certainly a hit. Approximately 800lbs concentrated on the port side swim deck produces a list that I was slightly uncomfortable with initially, ha. Pics and videos below are with stock ballast full (400lbs under port seat and starboard seat), WakeWedge, and 4 people in the boat, evenly distributed, @ 10mph. We're super new to surfing, but a 180lb guy had no trouble going ropeless, and while I (230lbs) didn't quite get it dialed in, I will after another time or two. The wake is certainly enough.

Filling ballast bags is an art sometimes so I would like a couple of more chances to fill before we get to excited and start alternating designs.

scottie, have you not traded those 400s out yet? I traded for an 1100 on the port and wow. can't wait to add this deck bag.

I haven't yet. I have 4 batteries under that port seat and moving them will be a lot of work. I haven't really looked to see what I could fit without moving them, but that would be an option too... maybe add 3 or 400 more pounds. I know it would improve the wake, but I'm honestly not sure I need to now. I don't have anything to compare it to, but the current wake with the swim deck bag seems to be pretty nice.

I have an 1100 pound bag under my port seat too and the wave looked good, but I wasn’t able to go ropeless util I added a bag on the swim deck. I to am about 230 and had no issues once that bag on swim deck was added... I tried to not have any exposed ballast and I just couldn’t do it without... can’t wait to get in on this bag!

If you put more water in that bag it will stay in place better. I also think it would be a good idea to put handles on the top the bag. Filling up a bag on the swim platform is always a challenge. Its very important to get the bag positioned correctly before you fill it. Unfortunately as the boat lists the bag will tend roll off the side. On the positive side your wake looks great.

Now that i think about it, those batteries add up to about 230lbs, so if I could swap the 400 for a 750, which I think would fit, I'd be close to 1000lbs under the port seat.

I’m thinking the handles on top may not be a bad move...
@jcyamaharider Thoughts?

Adding a handle to the top would be ok but I would probably remove one from the bottom or middle as well, just so the bag still had only 4 handles. We can review this before I place a second order....... still waiting on my first order to get here.

Scottie,

Try an 800 fat sac. Those fit well under the seat. Last year I ran an 800+400 under the seat. Just a PIA to drain them in Parallel so I moved batteries and went to a longer 1100 bag.
With 400 on the deck a full as I can get it 1100 bag and 100 in the nose and 100 in the stb seat we had an awesome wave this weekend.

Ready to see what a custom swim deck bag would do.

Had a little spare time at work today so here's a 19' boat Trapezoid version with extra handles. It's also a little wider (+6") to compensate for the loss of volume due to the angles. Capacity is the same +/- 1 lb. Thoughts?
