2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

is this still current vs the latest groupings list ? (and) you're launching Sunday morning from harbor town like @Julian vs Bahia mar with the balance of folks ?
keep in mind these groups wont be far apart from each other
Both Douglas and I will be Bahia Mar Marina on Saturday afternoon and plan to leave from there on Sunday morning. I don’t have a strong preference on group as long as we can leave around 6am - I would prefer to keep both of us in the same group. Thanks.

Everyone is departing on Sunday. Anyone who can not make the crossing Sunday should consider crossing Tuesday which would be without leadership.

@Andy S has the most experience and the lead. Please direct group and organizational questions to him.

Andy may have worked last night and be sleeping this morning.

I'm physically up but mentally asleep.

@AL-LL we will keep you together and everyone but a few of us will be leaving around 6am.

if @Andy S is not loosing sleep over the crossing, it is an indication that we will be okay

The forecast for an early Sunday crossing is the best the we have ever had for a crossing to Bimini. I bet it is under 2.5 hours allowing some time for “first crossing” problems.

i thought 2014 was flat flat and we did it in 1.5 hours.....we can skip the mid point swim

I believe 2014 was closer to 1 footers. I remember the group running in the 30s. I wanted to test my trim tabs and accelerated to 44 at one point.

the fire truck at the airport is operation and Silver Airways is running BAU.

challenge accepted!!!

Sooo... What's the record for a crossing?

Hmm well I no longer have my family crossing with me. @1948Isaac and I crossed from Chub Cay to Bimini and spent about 60 miles of that trip at wide open throttle if I left in the morning with you guys I'm thinking that could be a possible feat.

We just post over here
