I don't know if this helps but every day here in negril. We have had some intense storms in the early afternoon around 2 PM. Lightning and rain some winds. We are going night diving tonight in the open ocean. Weather has blown in and blown out. You can tell there is a tropical depression out here though.

As long as you have paid with credit card, I will not loose much sleep over the refund. It might take a while can you will get your money back. For the record I cancled my condo in May and I still have not got my deposit back.

Especially if they canceled your condo, you can dispute the charge and it is game over.
As we are getting 48 hours to making a decision, I would say " try not to factor in money as much as possible". There is one thing to be disappointed and be $500 or $600 in the hole and another thing to take a biting , take damage on the boat get disappointed while in Bimini and have incurred more than $5k in cost.

13 D I believe is a 3bedroom condo. That’s not 500 -600$ in the hole. It’s up in the thousands I believe.

There are many parties at play at Bimini Sands. This move was made yesterday. The Rentals staff was shocked as well.

Fortunately our money is in the hands of Rentals at Bimini Sands who has demonstrated honesty in the past.

Ok i dont want to bother with this ...is almost end of the day and we cant reserve or have a idea of what we will do ..by Marci and i quote [i have no idea of when this will be resolved and when money will be returned ...so basically we cant have plan B ...it is not just the cost of hotel ..is a LOT of time and momey on getting ready for this.....by any chance anybody knows the developing company?

In spots maybe, but I have a hard time seeing 2ft+ seas in 5 t0 15ft of water that surrounds much of the island. I just don't think 10 to 15 winds ruins your time a Bimini and keeps you in the marina.

SAPONA DAY:: when anyone goes to the Sapona, the bottom is a hard pack, hard to anchor even with a box anchor, and specially if its windy/choppy.

On the west side of the Sapona, equal with the up-step in the bow and about 25ft out, there is a mooring line sitting on the bottom, easily visible in about 15ft of water. you'll need another 5-10 feet of line to reach your cleat but it will hold you solid and you'll be close to the Sapona for the swim/kids. I meant to sacrifice a buoy to it but forgot.

The sum of the onshore and nearshore data I have seen this am for Bimini is in agreement from multiple sources/models with the exception of wave height which is obviously off in sailflow (pro version). 2 and half foot waves at a 4 second period most of the week combined with thunderstorms that appear as though they will linger for hours in some cases does not a good time make.

Damm ok theres a lot of money involve on this .good thing you have nothing to do with this but unfortunately we have a signed contract and money was collected and cancelation policy goes both ways so they having office ft lauderdale i am sorry we are taking legal action on this matter ...andcthe cherry on top let me guess they decided to take a Holliday today?

Actually so far they havent officially comunicated renters about this ....they was quite surpriced yesterday when we call and question about the situation
