27' new Yamaha model 275 jet boat to be unveil Thursday at the Miami Boat Show

I really want to see the inside now

Honestly, I really don't like the windshield. Maybe it will look better in person.

Maybe those wing things on the swim platform are for the removable seating? Either way, that looks like something my kids would break off the 1st time we took the boat out.

I am excited to see the interior, but afraid that the "galley" will take up a large chunk of real estate.

Agree, something looks off with the area right in front of the windshield. Look like the windshield should be taller or something.

It looks like the side arches extend forward passed the windshield!
That's not gonna look good

I agree but I bet this new 27’ is more of a cruiser style, it may or may not throw a better surf wave than the best behind the current 240/242s (with custom ballast and wake wedge).
More likely in my view a dedicated wake jet boat is in the works.

@swatski From the postings, it sounds like there is the 27' model being introduced this week, in addition to (presumably completely different) wake specific model(s?) introduced later (w/ the 4000 lb ballast, etc).

The windshield reminds me of the old regal LSRs that had the side mirrors.

Hopefully the DRiVE enhancement will make its way to the 24' boats.

I can do without the sink. A friend has one in his Chap and never used it. Maybe replace it with a beer tap.

Here's the actual PDF pages extracted from the Miami Boat Show's publicly available website. (Same source of the screenshots above, but maybe easier to view).

That's exactly what I thought at first, but I couldn't remember which boat it was. I never liked the way those looked.

Edges of the windshield definitely don't meet the front of those side arches
At least they line up on the LSR.
Can't be very aerodynamic.

That’s hilarious when you download the PDF the blur goes away lol.

I can certainly see the Japanese Yamaha boat influence in terms cockpit and overall lines. Not sure I’m digging such a raked back look but it is interesting. Not 100k interesting to me but interesting nonetheless.

Those side wings though.... yea looks like a trip hazard waiting to happen! Not sure the point of adding aerodynamics to that surface. Maybe they are new wake enhancement where we use downforce to push the stern down ?

Edit - oh yes can’t forget the regal and now I can’t unsee it lol. It looks like an updated version heh

I freaking love it! Whoa.
Did not expect this.
They are not easy to get though, just talked to my dealer he says only very limited number already pre-paid...

Can't unsee it ;)

I'm guessing DRiVE is a version of the RiDE system from the Waverunner line.

That is what it sounds like. Will be interesting to see how the paddles on the wheel control it. Cant wait to see it in person.
So far, from the brochures, this looks nice, real nice. Like the direction they are headed in just from these shots.

I want the 275!!!!

I see the windshield more like this (LOVE it)

Things that make you go, "Hmmmmmmm"

It says largest and widest in the industry. If it is 9ft wide like talked about earlier in this thread, I don't think it will be street legal to tow without wide load permits, and I doubt it would come with a trailer. That would be a whole new market for Yamaha jetboats.

I bet it looks like this from the front.

When I posted earlier I was asking I wonder if it will have bow thrusters to help with parking and if the 24 footers would ever have them going forward. Not sure how now thrusters got in I guess auto correct?
