Found this rubber self adhesive non skid in sheets at harbor freight. Cut to fit the step areas that were simply powdercoated with no protection and very slippery. Easy cheap attractive and effective

Helps a ton especially if you go out or load solo.

How has it held up?

It held up great and was dunked many times. I no longer have the boat now but I'm sure it's still holding up just fine.
