Just have to say that if you all feel old in your twenties, thirties, forties and fifties I would strongly recommend you change your life style or you just may not be around to enjoy your grandchildren. Heck I did not purchase our jet boat until I was 72. I am now 76 and still enjoy the rush I get when it is flat open.
An remember age is just a number how you feel is a state of mind. Also life is to short not to have fun just do it in moderation Live long and prosper [flag]

By birth years I am 46. If you ask my wife I am still 13 and still get a silly grin when she takes her shirt off..

I agree with @John McLaughlin, age is a number. I can still out ride, out ski, out endure, and out backflip on the trampoline any child, niece or nephew..

Didn't even remember answering this poll, but apparently I did. Anyway enough time has passed that I've advanced into a new age bracket and therefore had to recast my vote

I’m 46 and just got my boat exactly one year ago. Been learning how to wakeboard and getting back on skis! That has taught me that while I’m not in bad shape, I am definitely not in good shape! Gotta drop some LB’s and work on my core this winter, flipping over in the water with a wakeboard on is a bit on the tough side!!!

You’re never too old to feel young!

This has more about enjoying life than worrying about my age. Be aware of what can happen during recess when your granddaughter is being home schooled. They just might turn into a professional do over makeup artist and you just might become one in training.

You're not alone in this, brother. My youngest daughter loves painting my toenails for some reason and I don't mind letting her. I'm at that age where her happiness is more precious to me than any threat to my masculinity could ever be.

I'm 23, bought the boat about a year and a half ago at 21. So far the boat has been a ton of fun

So many on here must be living such different lives than I am. In their 20's and having the income for luxury items. In my early 20's I was struggling to pay for diapers and daycare. Mid 40's now and still no boat.. Yet.... haha

Yes... hard to believe so many young people can afford these boats today! I don't begrudge them at all.... just so different. I bought my first boat in 1997 at age 49. It was a1987 Four Winns, Horizon 210 I/O for $7500, and THAT was a strain on the budget. I am now 71... love to go out on the water, can still ski, and do all my own maintenance. I have 3 new (2016) watercraft and a nice house on Lake Livingston, North of Houston. It took a lot of years and hard work to get all these toys, but I value them because of that! I will boat until I can't.... which I hope is still a lot of years. One of the great pluses to all of this is that kids and grandkids love to come to the lake. Family weekends, and summer lake week strengthen the family relationship.... something you can't put a price tag on!

Yes, my husband are I are blessed. We both worked hard through college and then worked hard on paying off our student loans. What really set us up for financial success was buying a local fixer upper and remodeling it. We have a ton of equity in the home and make really good money. Hard work paid off for us.

A lot of my boating friends are in cruisers from 23ft to 30ft and all of them are in their late 20s. We all come from a lower to middle class town. Union jobs. Some of them are with their life partners so 2 incomes without kids makes everything easier. Also most of them were into cars at a young age and they fix everything by themselves. 1 guy just put 2 new motors in his cruiser .. in his driveway. We all work very hard.

I am single so everything requires careful planning, patience, saving, and hard work in DIY repair/maintenance. I worked as a car mechanic through community college and I paid my tuition as I went, but I never transferred to 4-year school because my crazy determination landed me in a few jobs that weren't my 'dream' job. But they had a role that needed to be filled, and I filled that role. Then I landed in a decent job. So without the student loan debt weighing me down, I was free to take a small loan on my boat. I absolutely love my little 19ft boat! For what I paid, it owes me nothing lol
