I didn't realize Yami made one. Got this one from ttopcovers.com . Surprisingly, it fits fore and aft. I did mount two new 15 degree rod holders just behind the running lamps. measurements: rodholder to rodholder 67" TTop width 60" (this was a little bit of a fudge). TTop to rodholders 74". If you just wanted it for aft, i would suggest somewhere around 65-7063968380892__3B29334B-2EE2-45DA-9303-CF9D2375D388.jpg

@zaclh do you recall the kit/model number/width/length that you purchased?

Yamaha does not come up in the dropdown so it looks like you have to enter in some dimensions. I like your set up so please share any info you may have!

Yeah, it's the Ttop Boat Shade. Fore or Aft, whichever youre preference.
Select "Don't See Your Model?" and enter the dimensions from my first post.
You have to order the Complete Boat Shade Kit. Let the system know you have a canvas top.
Everything else is included.

I bought a pair of 15º rod holders from WM, and simply played with the tension/fit until i had them where i wanted them. A slant slightly towards the outside of the boat will stretch the top, but also allow a rod to actually be placed out there for bobber fishing.

Not yet, it’s teeball season. It’s very sturdy though, and with the telescoping poles and stretch fabric you should be able to adjust to keep it from catching wind.

Did you get a chance to try fitting this yet? How did the larger size work out?
I tried fitting it over the t-top this past weekend and it’s way too big and floppy. The good news is that it looks like the T top extension version is back in stock so I just ordered a size #3.

Are you going to install rod holders up front or just place the poles in the cup holders and call it a day?

Any one else get their OceanSouth shades installed? My Size 3 ended up not fitting the bow area (was too short and came mid way up the front seats) so now I ordered a Hardtop Size 7.

Also what degree rob holders are you guys installed up front? I'm thinking 15 or a straight 90 degree holder.

Nice, which rod holders are those and did you use 4200 or 5200?

I used these ones from Amazon Amazon.com: 2Pcs Boat Stainless Steel Fishing Rod Holder Flush Mount Casting Heavy Duty 15/30/90 Degree, with Drain and Inner Tube (15 Degree): Sports & Outdoors
They actually look like the facorry ones. Both are oval however the Amazon ones are 1/2" hose for the drain and Factory is 5/8". I put a tee below the cup holder drain T for the drainage. I just used white silicone sinceI just need waterproofing. 4200 woudl work but I would not use 5200/

How did that Hardtop Size 7 work out? Got any pictures? :)

I've been procrastinating on getting this figured out. It's hoooot out this week and the family would love some shade so I've got to get cracking.

I don’t have a photo of it on but this one was taken right before. There is a little bit of extra slack right now because somehow I miscalculated the angle and installed the rod holders about a half foot too far back.

I’m tinkering with it but overall pretty happy.

My only concern with putting it over the bow area is that it catches a lot of wind so I’m not sure how secure the rod holders without a back plate will be long-term. I used 4000 UV, but there’s quite a bit of tension and shaking with each gust of wind so only time will tell and if they start to come undone.

Also it’s crazy how different (material wise ) the port and starboard sides were. See a photo of how thick one side was compared to the other in the exact same location!

wow that is a crazy difference, was the thicker side for Port? I could imagine maybe they thicken it up for the trolling motor mount maybe?

Bingo!!! I didn’t Think about that, but that’s it!

of course I started with the port side and used a 1” deep circular saw bit and it didn’t go through because of how thick that side is. The damn thing got stuck because the drill could not reverse out and I had to tap it with a hammer and slowly jigger it out in reverse. Talk about a PIA!

Do you happen to have a picture of where you put the rod holders with a higher view of the bow for reference? I'm trying to gauge weather I my trolling motor/mount would be in the way when deployed (we wouldn't use the shade under power)
