2021 Yamaha 275 SD - where are the diagnostic ports?

My problem was most of the systems out there don’t handle a 2023 model. I also used View attachment 232620

Both of my systems scan 2024 models. Dont by into the AI crap, i have found it very generic and not helpfull

Thanks. What is the brand and source for the analytic tool? Although the AI definitely has disadvantages, it delivered thr correct recommendations for my issue.

My BCU issue ended up being my batteries, although only 20 months old and testing “Good”, had just enough current drop under load to trigger the fault. Replacing just the start battery did not solve the issue, but replacing both did!

One of my scan tools that uses my laptop isn't available anymore, i think yamaha didn't like them using same platform is my guess.
The other is my Obdstar which connected to a customers 2024 gp1800r with no problems
These boats are very suseptible to problems with weak batteries, usually its the first thing to check. Been widly known for all past models

I think you can reset that right on the connext. I would have to be in front of mine to see but i seem to remember there being a reset for that somewhere.

were you able to find the yds for the newest boats? I tried looking for that about a year ago and i didnt think you could get it. Cant remember but it stopped at a certain year

My 2023 275SDX has the diagnostic ports behind the helm. You may have to crawl into the under helm space to find them.
