Thinking about picture up a 242 but have a question about the cruise control. Is it usable for wake boarding or will perfect pass need to be added?
Nothing beats perfect pass.

I have six 6.5" MX650 , 2 7.7" MX770 tower speakers, one 10" MX10IB3 sub, two amps, M200/2 & M600/6. and two component tweeters..
Where did you place the component tweeters and which model did you go with?

I replaced the factory tweeters with JL M100 in the factory location.

Oh, I forgot, there are the tweeters in the tower, right? I'm trying to determine if I should do a component tweeter in my 232 with no tower to literally pick the treble up off the floor. But that's a topic for a new thread.

@Williamsone46 now that I have finally received my new boat. I have a couple of questions about your mods I hope you will can answer for me. Anyone else is welcome to chime in!

Riva throttle spacer. What is the benefit for this mod?

Your tower speaker, could you share a close up pic of the mounted location. I am a tall guy and want to make sure I can mount to the outside of the tweeter/light bridge. Also did you mount to rear tube or front tube. Do you know the size of the tubes? Any issue with the Bimini top rubbing the top side of the speaker mounts?

The sub- I was thinking that i could mount forward facing in that same compartment, behind the captain chair. I known some talk about the curved surface of that area. Your feedback would be helpful. I am worried about damage to the back or front side of the sub from inside, did you protect the back side, inside the compartment, in anyway?

Ice chest - what do you do for ice chest? Do you keep the same one in the same compartment?

Tinted windows - anything special about the type of tint? Did they install inside or outside of the window?

Teak turf decking - I think I saw your boat has the same stern decking through the boat. If that is right can you give me some gudidance on getting the right color to purchase to match. Is the match pefect match, meaning is it the same product and color?

I must say that pictures do not do justice to how nice these boats look in the suede gray. Thanks for all your pictures posted and activity on this site, you made my wait on my new boat tolerable :) . Any help with the questions will be greatly appreacated :)

Cheers

For those of us at altitude it allows the boat to breath better, gaining back some rpm we've lost with elevation.

I mounted to the rear tube. They are about 12" behind my head, no concern about hitting them. No issue with the bimini top. The tube is 2 3/8".

The sub couldn't be mounted behind the driver, the area is to curved. I haven't done anything to protect the sub. The seat over hangs over the front enough and the cooler doesn't contact the back at all.

Ice chest - what do you do for ice chest? Do you keep the same one in the same compartment?
I've keep the stock one in the stock location those far. But I mainly use a 36 can AO cooler that I put in the helm storage compartment.

Tinted windows - anything special about the type of tint? Did they install inside or outside of the window?
I had 3M automotive tint installed. They installed it to the inside of the Windows.

Teak turf decking - I think I saw your boat has the same stern decking through the boat. If that is right can you give me some gudidance on getting the right color to purchase to match. Is the match pefect match, meaning is it the same product and color?
I added Sea Dek to the engine step and side steps. I still use the carpet. But @JetBoatPilot sells the kits for the inside if you were interested.

That last shot with the snow-capped mountains in the background is outstanding! Keep 'em coming.
