    I have used saltaway and it goes a long way, it doesn't take that much for each flush.

    Have you had a 1.8 timing chain failure, was it in warranty and how has Yamaha handled it?

    Yamaha knows they have had problems and they should have to do a recall just like in auto industry and make it right. This is crazy that the people have to take the valve covers off to check etc. Yamaha better step up to the plate. Someone might take them to court in the future if it happens...

    What'd you pay for your Scarab?

    Looking at Yamaha or Scarab here on west coast of Florida Ft,Myers area. I like this new model for 2019 that just cam out Scarab 255 Open ID (2019-) model for fishing and cruising looks nice. I like the idea too closed loop cooling since I would use in saltwater.

    I would just come in close shut off motors and the spin around by hand and not beach it.

    Wonder if there are pictures of how they broke up large stern compartments into smaller ones to diminish crazy amount of vibration and noise, and added some padding. Would be interesting to see what it looks like.
