The factory mounted batteries in middle of port bench storage. I decided to move them rearward an take advantage of the large cavity toward the rear.

Took some contortions to get back there, however well worth it to get storage back.

very nice. I should do this. But I'm too lazy. Just thinking about it makes me stress out. I can already see some of the battery cables being too short and then having to find more, and then a 2 hour job turning in to a 3 weekend thing. Maybe I'll do this after I finally install my TV and LT.

Also, I have alien eggs back there, don't wanna risk it.

Looks great, this is on my list of things i'd like to do, but looks like a daunting task (and seems like some of my wires will be too short).

I didn’t have to extend any wiring to get them to this spot. I considered further back which would have required positive wire replacement.

Position batteries where the negative terminals are toward the back of the boat. All the grounds run from that direction anyway.

I added a second battery and put both on a slide to get them all of the way back against the rear of the compartment, works great and freed up a lot of space, but there is 1 unintended consequence. With all of that weight all of in the back corner the boat lists slightly to port. I notice it when running at speed but also sitting in the water that side sits lower.

I guess a quick fix would be to add some weight to the back of the starboard compartment, or get trim tabs!

I did this on my '19 AR190.......Guess the guys at the dealership just plop it in there and screw it down to get setup. It works, but isn't the most efficient use of space.
