There is a foldable cushion that sits behind the 2 swivel chairs and fills the space of the rear to make a 'bed'. There are 2 support poles that are to sit in scalloped holders just under the lip of the cushions on either side of the rear. 2 poles go there and would then be under this cushion to support it. It's to support the cushion itself. Nothing to do with a cover.
Did you get the measurements you needed for these poles back in June?
Sort of...I measured myself and then guesstimated a tad. I cut PVC to length and tried it. Didn't support well enough though. I've not gone back and tried another material. All in all, i'll probably just do without, as we haven't missed not having it.
Yeah...would love to see the original poles. Are you selling them to someone already? or are you looking for a buyer?
