The shaft, impeller, pump housing, stator housing, tail cone and steering nozzle come out as a single unit after removing 7 bolts. You could remove the steering nozzle before shipping or ship the whole assembly to simplify reassembly.
In a shop setup to do so and the pumps already removed it should not take more than 2 hours to rebuild each side including replacing the bearings and impeller. I think it could be done in an hour per side.

Have you asked about the cost to go ahead and replace the bearings? It cost @Murf'n'surf soemthing like $1500 when his bearings failed destroying a shaft and impeller. I believe the cost to change mine was around $100. $20 of that was labor, we did the rest.
We know that @Murf'n'surf had an excellent experience with Riva. I am uncertain if the other two offer this service. They do do great work with impellers.
When you are talking to Riva please ask them why they are not on our forum.

We shall see I told Adam they should join.. who knows...
On another hand, I called Eric @ Bayside like @mark_m suggested... Eric said to go with WSM Pump Housing its an aftermarket housing and thats all he uses. Also Beacon Marina which is in Balitmore, they use the same thing.
So now I have the issue of needing photos to verify the impeller is really that damaged. He said doesnt surprise him that it swelled and to go ahead and replace the pump housing no reason to replace the impeller...
Pull em.. send to riva, have the marina install new housings and u r done! Esp since u will be gone the next three weeks. When u get back... write a check and hit the water!
