2009 232 Limited S Buying Advice!!

Are you referring to the 09 232's? Didn't they make 242's in 10? How are the 242's compared to the 232's? We have started to look at those also.
Yessir, my bad! 232.

Ha all good. I only know bc I've been doing so much research on this site! We are currently looking again, sadly it is slim pickings. ??

I’ve got an 07 sx230 with 71 hours on it. I bought the boat with 39 hours on it last October and have put 32 hours on it trouble free for the most part. The only issue I have had is that the swim platform safety switch needs to be adjusted to keep the motor from not starting. It runs great there are some cosmetic flaws that could use addressing, but I have the boat priced at what I think is appropriately at $15,500. I’m about an hour west of Richmond, VA on Lake Anna.

Thank you for posting!

Overall that boat looks to be in good shape. Not perfect, but of course it isnt. I would say 23 to 24k is fair for low hours. If it had a perfect interior, itd be more like 26k.

I'd give it a water test and see how it rides.

Hey there, Thanks for the input. Not sure what is up but the seller went radio silent.

Keep looking. I had a similar experience 2 years ago. Finally found a gem (2008 232 Limited with aftermarket tower) with less than 100 hours. Seller was great to work with, took the boat to get a compression test for me pre-buy, sent me tons of pics and video. He had nothing to hide. I was crazy and drove from IL to Texas and everything worked out after due diligence.
Thanks to awesome JB posts and guys like @buckbuck I learned a lot. (even got to hang out and replace the scupper with one of the masters ;) @buckbuck )
I have since enjoyed updating it with new SeaDek, a new GPS speedo, replaced depth finder, got a custom cover.

The 2008-2009 Limiteds were built right. Good luck!

Wow! That is a beautiful boat! Congrats! And thank you for the vote of confidence! We are going to look at a 13' 242 tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Sorry to hijack the thread but please share what color that Seadek is. I was all set on one color but wasn’t sure how it’d look in mine but I love yours!

Also what GPS speedo?

That is terra over black.
I installed a Precisionstar GPS. Super easy. no puck. fit into existing diameter hole in dash.
