I ordered the swim platform, optional 1X & 2X, and cockpit #10/11 on September 22nd. The money was charged to my cc on the same day, but I still haven't received a confirmation email with invoice yet. Figured I'd post about timing tonight before I call tomorrow. Thanks!

After spending my birthday weekend having to figure out how I was going to move money around thanks to Hurricane Irma and my insurance company not responding to me on our damage claim I was able to figure it out and make my payment today . Didn't want to miss the deal. Got tired of putting stuff I want/need for the boat on hold.

Have to give thanks to Lynita and Kerry who were very understanding and most helpful with giving me time to get it done. Can't wait to toss that stupid carpet in a corner or garbage bin.

Still a little pissed that after spending $200 on the swim deck kit earlier this year, they wouldn't part out this portion from the cockpit kit for a reduced price. Could have easily formed another swim deck kit (SKU'd and sell-able item) and sold/saved me from having redundant parts.

There was a win/win customer focused scenario but I guess it was easier to go with the win/lose vendor scenario.

Sorry that doesn't make sense - all the kits are sold separately on the Yamaha boats... The swim deck is a separate purchase from the cockpit kit. I ordered both for my boat as well as some other additional pieces. Maybe there was a misunderstanding but you should call and explain because it sounds like you got a swim deck kit and you don't need it

SeaDek looks great and I couldn't be happier!

The thicker ass pads on the swim deck are the bomb - I hated those cushions because we use the wet locker for shoes so it was getting old having to button those lame seats back down all the time!

Yes - you are following my logic and general direction to some degree but after explaining this scenario multiple times to the vendor, it wasn't well received on his end, resulting in a "not an option" thus my foregoing the group buy that I waited for all year.

The swim deck kit automatically comes with the cockpit kit. I did not need the full cockpit kit due to my already buying it from the vendor previously.

His way or the highway and that's his prerogative. I also have other options as a consumer. I expected more but the result was well below my expectations.

I bought a swim deck kit earlier this year and just bought the cockpit kit on the group buy - it does not come with another set of swim deck pads as you can see from JLCJ7’s pictures above.

Agreed you could purchase just the cock pit kit or just the swim deck if you liked. Only thing you couldn't do was sub peieces so if you didn't need one peice of the cockpit kit for some reason you couldn't sub that one peice for another.
