2018 AR190 trailer lift suggestions

Hello,
I have a ShoreLand'r trailer that came with my 2018 AR190. Love the boat! I do, however, have a problem with the trailer height. I always scrape the tail end when getting it up onto my driveway. EVERY. TIME. Anyone having similar issues? Has anyone installed bigger leaf springs or can I get away with adding spacers/blocks? Recommendations welcome!

High-end tow boats, with a low hanging rear bar on the back of the trailer, incorporate steel "rollers" for this exact issue. Maybe buy some bigger tires? Can you take your driveway at a slight angle to shallow your angle of attack?

Can you drop the hitch when pulling into the driveway? This will raise the rear of the trailer. My Mastercraft had those steel rollers/skid plate for exactly this. Raising the trailer will also raise the center mass of the whole thing, which could cause issues trailer launching etc. I have also watched people put down planks to soften the angle into the driveway.

Unfortunately, I can't take my driveway at an angle. I just don't have enough space for that. But thank for the suggestion, anmut! I'll look into the rollers although I'd much rather clear the ground completely.

That makes complete sense. Putting planks down might just work. Thanks!

Something like this might keep you from having to weld on rollers, you would either have to grind away paint or weld past the galvanization which you don't want to breathe when you do.

Something like this might keep you from having to weld on rollers, you would either have to grind away paint or weld past the galvanization which you don't want to breathe when you do.

I'll have to order some of these rollers if they become available. I ended up lowering my hitch a couple inches and that made the trailer clear. Downside now is that the trailer in not level and the back end of my jeep wags more in tow which I hate. Luckily, I don't need to travel far to find water but this is good enough for now.
