2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

For all that are going & have been reading my comments on being inspected, I may have said something wrong.

You are allowed $100 per person per week of groceries, not $100 per person per day. In case I did accidentally write that in earlier post. @justason @Bruce

It was great! We didn't do much of anything but relax. Justin Lightbourne was our tour guide for one afternoon. He makes an appearance in one of Twin Vee boats videos for the 260 Exuma edition with Jerry Lewless. That was probably the highlight. All the other stuff was just typical honeymoon stuff.haha

Oh hell no! That's the spare from my mfi trailer. I wanted to make sure it fit that spinal... I was 99% sure it would but wanted to make sure. Plus the tire that I took off had rubbed on a brace. So I wanted to check it. And its a good teachable moment for the kids! Once they had the spare on I made them change it back .. Lol

Well, lol Ga. isn't going very far, lol I was about to post: Hit I 65 and head south for about a day, then put it in Google and see how much further you got to go.
And in all reality, if all goes well and weather looks awesome for the July trip, I will be stopping in Tampa a night to visit a Sister in law so the same goes for from west to east!

We better start cbatting it up more, the lame-o July group is actually hitting 31 pages (yes, I know its a lot of fluff) and thats more than a third as many as ours. Little too close to half as many for comfort.

We were just having this conversation with someone else debating it lol. So I have done both straight down 95 no real tolls I can remember or the toll road bi pass. The road is nicer on the bi pass and a little less traffic. I would just follow your phones gps though if it takes you the toll roads that means there is traffic and construction on I95 and if it keeps you on I95 you are clear. The one time I didn't follow my phones gps on this trip I took I95 and it was trying to take me the toll road and it wound up costing me an hour.

Is anyone here driving up from Canada? If so did you get a cruising permit ? We found out that we need to apply for a cruising permit as my friends boat is registered as a Canadian boat. Going to call up the CBP tomorrow and get more info on this.

@MrMoose dis you get a cruising permit for last year’s crossing ?

Dummies like me screw it up and post on both! I like using ya'll as guinea pigs!

@Amar Nanduri I recall @MrMoose under a US flag last year. He said something about too much trouble to travel under a Canadian flag.

Come on now the reality is the June group is the pioneering Adventours type out going group the July group is kind of like the little engine that could. Sitting back watching the June group saying to themselves I think I can I think I can look the June group did it I think I can I think I can!
