2019 AR195 steering wheel indexing options

Ok so I need ideas on how to mark my steering wheel position when it’s at top dead center, I never know if it’s straight or turned left or right?

many ideas or build thread are appreciated.

First disconnect the nozzle from the cable where it attaches and has adjustment capabilities then turn the wheel all the way to the right and place a piece of tape on top. Now turn the wheel all the way to the left and place a piece of tape on top , now rotate the wheel back in the opposite direction so that both pieces of tape are evenly pointed to the floor and place a piece of tape on top , that is center it should be very close to a wheel spoke pointing down as well. Now have the nozzle straight and adjust the cable so it is able to be reattached, you now have the wheel centered get a sticker or some colored tape and place it somewhere on the wheel for you to recognize when the wheel is centered. I find a lot of wheels not centered properly from the factory and this can cause issues with the boat turning one way a lot better that the other if the nozzle is not centered correctly.
