That 212 is beautiful! I pre-ordered the 212S in the same color and am very impatiently waiting for the dealer to call when they get the boat in...

Nice boat! Been waiting here in Lewiston Idaho probably should be soon I’m hoping!
Still waiting for mine in CDA but I'm encouraged to see that they made it to Oregon so far... Hope Idaho is next!!

I wish that logic made sense; however, my dealer in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, a White Diamond Yamaha dealer no less, is still waiting for their Early Release boats and have not seen one yet. I have no idea how they have shipments prioritized.

Just got off the phone with one of the Surdyke Yamaha Sales Managers and he said they were told 3 weeks ago that their Early Release boats were shipping and they still have not seen a single boat. He said he has no idea when they will actually see one.

As someone who buys and resells from over a thousand vendors, this makes no sense to me. For all the good things I hear about Yamaha, I really do not understand the number of people, as evidenced on hear and on FB, who are waiting on boats and cannot get any firm information. Of course, things can change as I see all the time in my job, but there should be expected dates assigned to Purchase Orders, that followed by shipment notification with corresponding tracking information. Not that complicated.

Can someone pass along my credentials to Yamaha, because I will gladly come in and clean up their process? Jeez!

@JetMania I pre-ordered back in June (ar190)- the dealer has had 6x ar195s, 2x Sx190s, and 1x 212 come in. Dealer says they don't know whats coming until a few days (about 4-5) before they arrive, at which time they get the invoices.

Yamaha must be so messed up on production lines...

Yeah, obviously they are. However, once they get close to shipping things shouldn’t change much. And once they ship, it’s super easy from there really.

ooohhh. I now see how those gray foam things are used on the Bimini top when folded. I was wondering what those were for!

Just picked up our 2021 212 from River Valley Marine in MN. Minimal negotiating since demand is far exceeding supply. They were transparent through it all. Feeling very fortunate to get one this summer!

Congrats on the boat! I’m still waiting on my 212S from River Valley. Did they call you the day they received it or did they let you know ahead of time?

They let me know only a day or two before it arrived. They were detailing another 212 that was going out the door tomorrow (Friday). Hope you get the call soon!

We just picked up our 2021 AR195 today from River City Boat Sales in Portland. They have excellent customer service and were very transparent through the entire purchase. We love the Sapphire Blue, and will post better pictures of it soon.

Beautiful boat, and truck too! How do you like the Hardrock wheels? They look sharp! Are you lifted or leveled (or neither and I'm just being fooled by the picture? The OEM tires on my '18 F150 will need to be replaced in the next few months and I'm looking at wheel and tire upgrade options and possibly a level or small lift to go with it.

Great looking boat! You will get the hang of it pretty quick. In some ways it is easier the longer the trailer, within reason. Short trailers can be squirrely.

WOW, love those blues and blacks..what great colors on those models.
Happy Boating!

Also waiting on a 212S from River Valley... the wait is brutal

I know some have been concerned about maintaining the black hulls and keeping them clean. I'm all inland and cannot comment on marine environments, but I've had my children dry the boat with beach towels while we pack up at the ramp and then use a spray detailer with a microfiber towel each time before I park the trailer. So far it looks new each time. I'm using the Eagle One Wipe & Shine spray, but I'm sure others work the same. I also use the Yamalube vinyl dressing on the inside surfaces. All in it adds 30 minutes to the day.
