Greetings everyone!
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Thanks for all the info in these forums...helped make my decisions easier.
Restrictions started to ease so we just got back from the dealer and put down a deposit for a 2020 212s in black. Coming from a 20ft closed bow, this thing has massive room inside. The basic lack of outdrive, low profile engines, huge swim platform, wake-tower, and twin jetdrives to really pop out of the water will be a welcome change. All the new controls and monitoring features will also be nice. Got the factory black mooring cover and black trailer. Only upgrades we plan is a JL Audio MX 4-ch amp to crank up the Polk speakers and some red LED strips for mood lighting after hours. Might put a chartplotter in the dash if the mapping doesn't meet our needs, but we'll see how that goes first. We don't power load, so we'll see if a bow roller is really needed or not. She seems to have everything else we want, so we're happy!

And since pics are needed or it didn't happen...here it is at the dealer...just waiting impatiently for pickup day!

Congrats !! She is a beauty. Where will you be boating ?

Beautiful boat! They are out of Yamahas here in Minnesota, good find! Take it from a fellow black hull owner, you want to change that roller. Ours came scratched just from the transport. A little sand gets in there going down the road with that hard roller and it will be scratch, if not gouge, city!

Thanks, thought about the blue/white but the black has more presence and matches the top/tower better - interior is identical on both. We'll be trailering everywhere we can around the 1000 islands and lower great lakes areas - lots of options up here. Now we just need the heat to arrive.

Hmm...was wondering about that. Thanks for the heads up!

IF that picture is of your boat still sitting on the dealers lot , that tape between the bow & bow roller speaks volumes !! @Rammrodd knows what he's talking about and telling you the facts. Even the dealer knows that yellow OE hard plastic roller is a danger to scratch his investment. Yamaha/Shorelander should be ashamed to keep doing that.

Good Luck - we picked up the white and blue version a few weeks back! It's been a great boat so far (out 6x) from the previous 230HO I had many years ago.

Top speed 52.5!!!

I'll have to look around for a vendor here, thanks.

Looking forward to having fun out there with a nice riding boat. 52.5 is too fast though...probably just keep it under 30 most of time. Don't want to scare the wife!

Congrats, nice boat! Picked up the same color combo a week ago and have had it out three times now. We absolutely love it and are looking forward to a fun summer with it.

Thanks, looks like you're kinda new too! We've been wanting a new boat for a while and this should be a real treat. Can't wait for the maiden voyage and then having some fun after break-in. Dealer is prepping it now. Didn't realize the bimini would be attached at the factory wrapped in plastic, you can see it in the photo above. Everything was still wrapped in plastic, seats, table, mats, etc. I don't think anyone has touched it since it arrived at the dealer due to COVID. Doesn't get any newer than that.

That is true. It cruises nicely between 25-32.
