2nd Battery Addition on path to 3rd Battery.

I think I am going to set up the wiring as @0627Devildog did Here. Battery Image It looks clean.

I want to use my battery compartment for the second battery for now. It appears that a Group 34M will fit and I will be picking up the Duracell. Great price. I will go get a negative buss bar at west marine today, I think they have them in stock, otherwise I guess I can try an auto store.

Do you think the "C" on the one wire means Crank? Or would that be the one labeled "Main"?

Not sure you moved on this project, but earlier Q on buying a 3 battery charger but what to do with third set of wires when not in use....I bought on board charger for three batteries and just covered the ends of the cable up keeping the connections separated and velcro`d the wire up and out of the way. Charger just shows as disconnected while plugged into 120v while charging for that one, other two charge fine. Now getting ready to add 2nd house battery to my solution so don't have to buy another on board charger. Having house batteries same in spec and age is my next step for getting to two house batteries so will buy two batteries at once.
