Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I flipped the assembly around in the vice so I could pull down on the impeller instead of push up on it and was able to break both impellers free from their shafts. I need to clean up the stators before installing the stock impellers and putting both assemblies back together.
Not much different to see but I replaced the grease in the cones, cleaned up the stators and re-installed the oem props on their shafts. The boat should be ready to go with another hour or so of effort.
I Just put it all back together, Test fired the engines and the boat seems to be seaworthy once again. Just in time for the end of my season, good stuff.
