Another failed Solas impleller

I haven’t ever heard of or seen a pipe chain vise until now. I’m just going to lay someone else a few bucks to do it.
 
I flipped the assembly around in the vice so I could pull down on the impeller instead of push up on it and was able to break both impellers free from their shafts. I need to clean up the stators before installing the stock impellers and putting both assemblies back together.

Not much different to see but I replaced the grease in the cones, cleaned up the stators and re-installed the oem props on their shafts. The boat should be ready to go with another hour or so of effort.

I Just put it all back together, Test fired the engines and the boat seems to be seaworthy once again. Just in time for the end of my season, good stuff.

Nice job Ronnie...just got my pumps back in as well. Did you use sealer on the mating surfaces (flanges) I ended up using Threebond 1211 (white).
