I've been looking for the last six months for a shotgun for my 15 yr daughter who has taken a liking to shooting.

Being tall and skinny she of course needs adjustable everything so my options are limited right now vs. my budget,

I think I've found a nice used gas gun at a gun store in West Charlotte but would really like some one actually look at it and tell me if "minimal use" means minimal use or it's barely hanging together before I buy it.

If you can or know a member I might PM I would appreciate it. PM me and I'll give you my phone number and gun details.

Hello Bruce, Scott sorry charlotte is a good 2.5-3 hours away form me. I'm outside Raleigh

You can PM me details. My father-in-law might be close and is a collector. Since he is living the retired life now, there is a chance he might like the field trip.

If @Seadeals offer doesnt work oit send me a message... i know a crap ton of firearm guys.. dont k ow specifically beretta but i can ask.. i am in the raleigh area!

thanks to everybody the looked or replied, Seadeals FIL was able to stop by and look at it for me,
It's a Beretta 3901 RL Target, it's a discontinued model that was made for youth and they're kind of hard to find,
Gun was in good shape, I bought it yesterday and now just waiting on the FFL transfer details to work out and for them to ship it,
I'll post a picture once it comes in (hopefully within a week)

That was worse than waiting for Christmas
It finally arrived and made available for us to pick up
Not sure if we'll be able to shoot tomorrow otherwise it will be next Wed at the earliest

That gun looks like it has had a good life. 20 gauge?

Awesome! It look very nice and she is smiling. We were glad to help. It is 12 ga. Looks like it will also serve well in keeping any future boyfriends in check.

I think her dad will be all over the "boyfriend" issue. Although knowing a girl can shoot should cause the boy to behave.

Finally the cards played right and we were able to go to the range today
Shot good at pattern board but she only hit about 8 of 30 so she needs better instructions than from me
The recoil of the 1220170930_150910.jpg didn't bother her at all

Your a good man and dad scott

She's a lefty, huh? Does the shell ejection bother her? I guess I am getting older but the 12 ga kick bothers me.

Does the safety get turned around for a lefty?

I don't know about the safety

The right eject doesn't bother her or enough that she's said anything, not knowing any different and not talking about it I believe may have helped,

We shot another 2 rounds this afternoon. She said it was much more comfortable today and hit about 40-50 percent

Another 75 today
Easily hit 60-70 percent and from all positions so I'm really getting excited about this
