I'm in the same boat (pun intended)! We can't make this trip but we will go next year! A trip like this is something we have never done in a boat so I will be paying close attention to all the plans and the trip to be better prepared next year. I know this has to be a great trip!
My wife will be very nervous during the crossing. I understand that in the summer the water is pretty smooth and the weather is good. Isn't that why everyone tried this in June and July? Anyway, that is why I am learning so I am better prepared to go. I think it will be a great trip/adventure.
Do you need extra gas for the trip?
booking tomorrow!
***edit*** hold up, saw dates, have to sit down and plan things, 4th weekend is a huge weekend for us and other family. I'll know soon
Great videos!!! Truly enjoyed them. Where can I find 1 and 2? I just finished watching ten75k's videos on YouTube. I assume he was with you guys and his are of a different series. Man I am so hoping this happens for us this year. Planning a way as if it will! Keeping fingers crossed.
Two strokes and 192s should bring extra fuel. I have lots of info in the Preparing for Bimini thread https://jetboaters.net/posts/64515/
