Bimini 2015 - July 6th to 11th

Besides @upperdeck and myself the only other one I know that is on Jetboaters.net is @Bousbous55, hopefully I'm not overlooking anyone. There were a total of 8 Yamaha's, so we are missing 5 boats here. One of the boats that went was stole out of his yard shortly after the 2011 trip and not sure if he ever replaced his boat.

The missing boat names and owners are:
Goin Propless - Rob Lattimer (boat was stolen)
K. EG. Hauler - Mark Womack (other forum goes by k9medic)
Gatoritaville - Rich Peterson (other forum goes by Gatoritaville)
? - Russ Fortune (other forum goes by thefortunes)
? - Todd Gleisner (from Georgia)
It was the best trip ever

going through video today. Inserted a clip that shows when Tow Boat and the Coast Guard were on scene. Second part of clip captured the Coast Guard cancelling the Pan-Pan alert.

Here's another video clip. This is of the worst part as we were heading out of the inlet. With a stiff wind in our face and tide heading out, the chop was standing tall. It gives a pretty good indication of conditions.

About halfway through this short clip, I took about 5 gallons of water over the bow. You can here me power down and then back up after the water came across. I suspect my hands may have bumped the throttles causing this to happen. No worries on my end as it cleared quickly through the scupper.

@Murf'n'surf, this is one of the rentals. I believe they have three similar boats.

I second that.
Thanks guys!!! For me it is a labor of love with my goal to assist anyone that wants to join us in enjoying the wonderful islands and waters of Bimini so that they can someday return and pass that knowledge and assistance on to others.

@upperdeck, andy07sx230ho, thanks BIG! You guys did a fantastic job on this epic trip. Thank you much for making it so easy for some of us to join this great group of adventurous people at last minute. Many thanks as well to all that shared great food and drinks with us Jet Skiers that are so limited with what we can carry. Tim H and Tracie, very grateful to the both of you for giving my girlfriend and 1st wife a ride on the Big Ass Boat so she could experience the crossing action up close. ;-) Andy I think you got me hook on that moonshine, man I thought that stuff was illegal, what's the brand? ;-)
We just got back to NC after spending a few extra days in Miami. I hope the fellow jet boater that got injured is doing well?
It was truly awesome meeting and hanging out with you all! A big HOOAH as well to my brothers in arms, Armychief, Tony, Tobi, Eric, Jerry and one civilian, Rambling Wreck Jeremiah, that was crazy enough to hang with us. ;-) ABN ATW! SEE YA ON THE WATER!

@Justin G., how is your baby doing? I bet he or she never gets sea sick!

My pleasure to assist in putting this great group of people together. Cheryl and I look forward to seeing everyone next year!

@JROD I had two different brands with me, Firefly and Palmetto Moonshine, both bought at a local liquor store and both South Carolina companies. You should be able to find moonshine in almost any North Carolina liquor store.

It was great meeting you and your wife and looking forward to future adventures with you.

THANKS AGAIN! I'll be counting the days. Perhaps it'll drive me crazier that some folks misguided opinions of my sanity level is already. ;-) I am going to start charging $10 bucks for gas every time someone tells me going to Bimini on jet ski is insane. ;-) Trust me, me name not Miky but U try U liky!!! ;-)

Have to head back to real life and away from my salt water addiction today, but coming back out to NC coast next friday 24th of July. If anyone is interested in coming out, pls let me know. Be glad to show you around since there are many interesting places to ride to and enjoy in Oak Island, Southport, Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, and one of a kind place Bald Head Island. SEE YA ON THE WATER!

Spent all week at sea trails for a work conference... one day I want to pull the boat down there and do some real sight seeing....

Like many have said before, thank you all boaters for such a great trip. From those that organized it, to those that hauled my wife and daughter around, & to those that just shared in the fun I really appreciate you all. The trip would have never become reality for my family without all you folks on the site and all that joined the trip.

Here's our part 1 of 3 videos that Brittany put together. Pay close attention around the 4:50 mark at the waves one boat was hitting. It was pretty rough early on. We didn't have a ton of footage for the first hour or so as Brittany was just holding on :)

Great Video! Did any of the 19'ers make it? I really want to do the trip but it's a long haul from MN and I am not sure how the 192 would fair if the seas were rough.

Awesome video! Brittany, great job! As testified by my Trudy, hard to hold on and take Pics and videos at same time. ;-)
