If you put in on the Meramec, Goerge Winter park in Fenton has a ramp ($5)...and Flamm City park in Arnold has a free ramp.

While there, we like to go upstream past the bridge /Fayetteville - the river gets a bit shallower but you will be fine in a Yamaha JB and the crowds are gone.

I know this is an old post here. But in regards to the Kaskaskia, does anyone know what a "normal" water level is? At New Athens right now it is 69', any shallow spots at this level? I'm use to the Meramec in MO, and it can run pretty shallow in spots. Any insight would be appreciated.
