This is the dog we adopted a few months ago.... 4 year old 150 pound great dane.... I am sure she would love the boat but I am just not sure about taking her.... I worry about my seats.... she is a sweetheart though....
Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. He will jump off the back after us if we get in the water. He's never jumped off with the boat in motion, but we'really careful to have somebody right with him. We kept him leashed for his first couple rides just in case he got spooked and tried to make a mad dash over the side. I have to lift him back onto the transom to get him back on. He shouldn't be much more that 55-60lbs full grown though so it'should not too hard.@d_coyne1984 - great puppy. I am thinking a golden for our next dog. Lost our Bernese a few months ago. How does your dog get in/out of the boat or does he only get out when you are on shore?
WOW! He looks just like Wolfie when he was a pup!!!!View attachment 48389 Here is our new addition "Cooper" can't wait until spring to get him in the boat!
We just got this Tervuren puppy a week ago, she shows great interest in water, and has been fitted for her PFD, will train her to the boat on land first and take her out soon when the weather improves.
