The top is his first boat ride and the bottom as a seasoned pro at about 7 months. He gets nervous when his girl goes in the water without him.

@d_coyne1984 - great puppy. I am thinking a golden for our next dog. Lost our Bernese a few months ago. How does your dog get in/out of the boat or does he only get out when you are on shore?

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. He will jump off the back after us if we get in the water. He's never jumped off with the boat in motion, but we'really careful to have somebody right with him. We kept him leashed for his first couple rides just in case he got spooked and tried to make a mad dash over the side. I have to lift him back onto the transom to get him back on. He shouldn't be much more that 55-60lbs full grown though so it'should not too hard.

Adding dog number 5 to our family...flying down to Phoenix this Wednesday to pick him up. Hopefully, little Finn will like the boat.

@bobbie We we're looking at those but found a frenchie near home. I like the idea of mixing breeds to avoid some of the genetic problems. IMG_0621.JPG

Funny thing @Pinhacker71 The little guy is actually from Morgantown, KY! I'm jus meeting the petshipper in Phoenix to get him to portland a few days earlier.

We just got this Tervuren puppy a week ago, she shows great interest in water, and has been fitted for her PFD, will train her to the boat on land first and take her out soon when the weather improves.
20170512_153108.jpg 1935.jpeg She loves getting her feet wet on the pool cover.
