BOATS & BIKES

Woke up this morning to the nice smell of old gas in the garage.
Found my DRZ was peeing out the carb overflow hose. So time to clean out the carb and the fuel valve on the tank. Haven't ridden her in a while and the carb was a mess. I had a new needle and seat so i replaced it instead of cleaning it.
All better now. Took it out for a good blast, and she is perfect again

I have a 1980 CB750K. I had it running but now it has sat for about 10 years. It is one of my to-dos in the near future. I love these old machines!

respect the hit with the pipes and the flexi frame... however the 750 will put a smile on your face in a straight line...

My first bike. A 1999 GS500e

Next up; a 2004 SV1000S

But, I wrecked that one, so my newest ride is this 2008 Triumph ST1050

Whats your thoughts on the ST1050?.
That is one i almost bought

I really like it. I like the sound of the triple, and the power deliver is almost identical to my SV1000S. The riding position is more sport than touring, but I prefer that.

Just added a 2016 Victory Hammer S to our fleet. Haven't owned a bike in over 10 years. Rode one of these 15 years or so ago when they first came out and liked it. The fuel injected 106ci is a monster. Already ordered parts to squeeze all the power out of it. Can't wait for it all to come in.

Got a new (to me) toy…Husky TX 300 two stroke.

Recently got laid off and decided to take advantage of the time off and great weather here to get some long needed dirt biking in. Upgraded from my 25 yo kawi KX/KDX hybrid to a real modern enduro bike.

I’m not sure if the starter or the kickstand are my favorite upgrades :p…but holy shit, what was I waiting for?!

Rippin a trail in the morning.

The Kawi was totalled, along with the base joint of my left thumb, courtesy of an Arkansas drunk. Moved on to a 2023 Triumph Tiger 900 GT, and added a little New Mexico wrap to it:

Glad you weren’t hurt worse. I’m too scared for street bikes, particularly here.

Finished working on the Victory a few months ago but never had time to post about it.

Added flush mount turn signals front and rear.

1000002855.jpeg

Did a Llyods Torque Tube Intake with twin filters, and a Power Commander V with custom tune.

And an RPW slash cut exhaust with O2 delete.

Also not pictured, I went with a Metzler 250 rear tire and added 4in forward controls.

It hasn't been Dyno tested yet, but based on the same mods being done on other hammers, Lloyds estimates apporx. 122hp vs the stock 96hp. It definitely has a really noticable seat of pants difference.
