Bringing boat to Fl by water. Not jet boat.

Did to many Uber rides this place is close to nothing. Just rented minivan. us 3 and the 2 crew of a 55 Sea Ray can move around town easier. Dan and Fitz are great people, hanging out with them and others here is awesome. The comradeship of people on the trip down is like we have in the Fire Dept. Good people, some you just met but will help them and they will help you. Good thing to have when a Hurricane is coming! Weather is hot and muggy. Just a waiting game no wind right now.image.jpg

What manufacturor is the first photo? The 50' SeaRay is nice. As well as the Scout CC. That 42' Outrage would fit my slip just fine, and the boat I tried to steer @swatski towards, by dropping hints, but he is set on keeping his current towrig. :banghead:
It is a Grand Banks it really looks like a Hinckley but it’s a grand Banks 72‘ I think is the length I will confirm it later.
2017 outrage here from new it was 1.3 million

Thanks, I knew it was not a Hinckley or a Sabre, Grand Banks makes sense. Some friends at our old marina in Malletts Bay have a Grand Banks, not that big though. Beautiful boats. Love that Outrage, but the price is Outrageous. We'd have to sell the Farm.

I might have missed it, but what’s yours final destination?

Once at Ponce, Are you plans to head South to New Smyrna?

If heading North once you clear the inlet, be weary of the shallows just outside of the channel. They seem to shift each year, so not 100% marked. Great sandbar for hanging out on, but have seen plenty of boats stranded waiting for the tide to come in.

No go for us this year. My buddy who went with us broke his neck last year. So we are taking a year off. His wife was not happy.

Ponce de Leon Inlet sea love boat works.

Stuart Fl.
south to Stuart are the plans taking the ocean.
‘leaving at 7 am
the inlet and channel are challenging just trying to figure where to go.

So Jim and his wife had motor trouble in there port engine. We hung with them and took a relaxing ride in for the last 20 miles. They had the 40 that is the sport fish pictured above.

This inlet is short of markers. You can go around the island or save a half hour at high tide and go this way.
