2018 sx240. I had the port side clean out plug blow. I have found that the aluminum fitting in the hull broke. There is no listing on yahmaha site for the through hull fitting. Does anyone have a part number for the hull portion of the clean out plugs. Thanks

maybe dig through @Ronnie posts..
seems like he mentioned that part being glassed in by factory..
maybe in here? maybe some helpful pics

They do not sell those parts, Years ago I recall someone using the old purple plug fix and overtightening it causing that ring to crack , he took it to Yamaha and they had to cut out the original one and glass in a new one. This happened when his boat was fairly new and under warranty I recall him telling me that Yamaha said they had never run across this in the past and were not even sure how to fix it. But they figured it out. Since your boat is not new I would suggest sealing it in with 5200 and just not using that clean out port.
You can always just use my reverse move to get weeds out.

Agreed, it is a glassed in part of the hull and not a part found on any parts list I have seen. That part would have to be salvaged from a scrapped hull.

I did find the piece that broke off, it appears to be cast aluminum. I’m thinking of attempting to Tig weld it back on. The fracture is almost 2” long. It broke off horizontally from the tang. If I remove the hose and deck cover access looks to be ok.

Can you post pictures?
