Deposit For 2021 Yamaha and still waiting?

What is going on with Yamaha are these boats cancelled or not. It seem odd that boats are still arriving when there were canceled about 2 weeks ago

My dealer never canceled mine. I had 26 estimated ship dates and they reassured me that my boat was coming we just didn't know when.

They gave you 26 different ship dates?
We put our deposit down Jan 15th. The dealer sent us a screen shot on 4/1 with an estimated ship date of 4/6, since this original estimated ship date of 4/6 the date has been pushed out one to two times a week up until 7/6 when the estimated ship date went to TBD. I got in touch with the Yamaha district manager and he confirmed that my boat has already shipped and we will pick it up next week

This is strange. 'My' 195S changed to a TBD status in early June which the dealer said was very good - shipping imminent, but then we learned on June 28th that it was cancelled.

Same thing with my 252se

It is real! I finally picked up my AR190 on June 29th, one day before a 2 week vacation that I was able to take the boat on. The boat has been great, no issues with quality other than some cup holders not having tubes. I am so grateful for the clean out port as I had to use it almost every time I left the dock because it was in a shallow channel filled with milfoil. Family enjoyed the boat doing tubing and waterskiing.

What exactly is milfoil? I am sure it isn't what I thought of when I first read it.. Milf-oil.. not sure if that is a good oil, or a bad oil. HAHA

And congrats on the boat.

milfoil is an aquatic plant that grows in some lakes (not all). it is usually in the shallow areas or near shore so if you try come into a dock or something, you can get it caught up in your boat. Like I said....it happens in some lakes. We have one north of where I live that it gets pretty bad in so I stay away from that lake after about July 15th. It can grow from the bottom of the lake up to 4-6' deep I believe.

Hi, new here. Stopped at my local dealer yesterday to buy a Yamaha 190/195. Nothing at all in stock (even awaiting delivery) and all incoming inventory had anywhere from two to four backup buyers.

I'm on the #1 on the list for a 2022 SX190. "Maybe" August, but seeing this thread, probably not.

I lol'd at the statement above. Ship stuck in the Suez Canal was full of Yamaha components & products.

O.M.G.

Signed the papers yesterday on a new Yamaha SX190!

Awesome. Hide the credit cards NOW

Yes. Or yamaha sent them and they had no idea they were coming.
