First post, first jetboat.....first boat.

Haha, that'll be down the road a little. Gotta do a few things to get her tweaked to my preference. And the purse strings on my budget are strung tighter than a guitar string. Because of retirement savings, vacations, mortgage, groceries, and other dumb stuff my wife thinks are important... :p But, it will be worth looking into when the time comes... Thanks!!

@dgfreeze I have used weedwacker string to clear the pilot holes when I have seen them plugged at home. But the last time I was about to launch and saw the mud. I pulled a long zip tie from my tool kit and cleared the blockage.

LOL! zipper, that is exactly what I ended up using too! We had already put out to water before checking stuff, so I tried to find something to use on the boat, but all i could find was a small piece of solder wire (too soft), and a short piece of cable attached to a bimini pin. Ended up going back to the docks, and rummaging through the truck, and some zip ties were all we could find. They worked pretty well. I'll probably use zip ties to block the mud daubers during storage, because I am pretty sure if I forget to take them out, the water pressure will just push them out.

Golf tees are a popular option.

Golf? never heard of it... lol, they would be a good option, yes. Thanks!
