The Lilypad showed up at Costco a few weeks back and were $299. Not sure if your Costco carried them or if they are still in stock locally, but worth a shot.
@octavio3311 nice move on their part and since that was the "wife's purchase" ... you have $300 of boat mod-money that was not depleted on the "float decision"

I pointed out that Lilypad to her for weeks. Her reply "there is no f'n way we could possibly need ANYTHING more for the boat".
So - the 1 time I don't go to Costco's cause I had to work and the 1 time the kids go with her - 15yo twins - there it is sitting in the garage.
I asked what happened? She replied "the kids like it". I've liked it and mentioned it for weeks - the kids just saw it once. WTF??
I've looked but don't see what the approximate deflated folded/rolled dimensions are for storing in compartments?
Amazing how fast our boats fill up fast once you put 3 fenders, various size life jackets, 2 tubes, BBQ, ice chests, ropes, towels, etc...
Lily pad...worth everydollar. Takes 5 min to roll up with 2 people. When we drop anchor im there for many many hours..kids run on it and jump off..gets my 3 yr old off the boat and off the snacks..and allows the wife to lay out too..we now roll back about 18 inches at the end to simulate a back rest...just lay there while the 6 yr old get me drinks .. well worth it..no skinned up knees like some may be prone to deliver..im 230 lbs...i may not jump on it..but i can do the step drop into a roll ...and it fits on tbe swim platform on the 242
here you go @captainhook .. nothing says fun like a gaggle of kids on a lily pad! now imagine 20 yamahas each with a lily pad... it would be a floating paradise.
We have the airhead gangplank blow up mat and it fits perfectly in the stern seat compartment. The material is very durable and thick and easy to inflate/deflate for storage. We looked at the lilly pad (wrestling mat) but it was to too cumbersome for storage. This fits our need very well. I think we picked it up on sale for $150. You can also get multiple and zip them together.
@Mystic1906 We have the AquaGlide SplashMat. It was $800 when we bought it. There are many more options available today that are lower cost. However it is very durable and has taken years of use without problem. After deflating, we roll it up and set it under the port side seat.
@Pinhacker71 Went to my local Sam's yesterday and they didn't have any. Said they didn't think any store in Florida had them. Would have scooped one up if they did.
