Let’s see pics of those trim Tab Locations, both tabs and controls. Also if anyone has any videos of there boat while tabs in use or “ Comparison” videos please post them. I am looking to do this “ Hopefully” soon and I want to get some mounting ideas and possibly see what to expect especially in Chop.
Thanks All!

The tabs work great. Had them on all my boats. When you get used to them you understand and feel why. I have a Chaparral 223 and I put them on this. Not the same as yours but hopefully someone will chime in. Many do not put them on so I'm not sure who will reply. Sorry. do not have before and after videos. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not the best shot in the world, but you get the idea. I don’t have a controller placement shot but it’s located in the red box here:

Bought my tabs last year unfortunately being me i have too much to do and too little time but doing before and afters on Lake Michigan is a great idea!

I never got the chance, only an after for Lake Michigan. I can give you a before and after on the gulf and ICW come July or August.

Is your actuator sitting under the cover a bit?
I am still mocking things up and itseems if i have the wake wedge on i have to move it inboard to the point i almost hit the thrust vectors when doing a hard turn.
Too many toys hanging off the back of the boat!

Yeah it sure is. It landed about 5/8” from where the fiberglass starts curving up to the rub rail. It’s TIGHT!! If need be I could slide them outboard 4-5” but that puts it right on the edge of the “V” part of the hull, not optimal but we have such limited space you do what you have to.

My install from 2017...07' AR230. 12x12 tabs bent down, short actuators. The wife calls it the "Best mod on the boat", over the last 4 seasons. I followed @Bruce 's install here. https://jetboaters.net/threads/lectrotab-trim-tabs.71/#post-209 . Although I did add/change a few things on the install. I wanted to increase the retracted angle of the tab and make the bottom of the tab more flush with the bottom of the hull, so I cut a piece of 1/4" starboard and installed as a spacer between the tab and hull. And due to the step in the hull, the mounting holes for the tabs needed to be redrilled 1" aft, to clear the hull.

Put the controller forward of the binnacle.

The system has been flawless since the install, we use it all the time. The ride improvement was worth every penny.

You'll find many more pics and install stories in the Group Buy section--look for the Letrotab group buy. But here is my install:

Just took it out for the first time today. Heavy chop on the lake. These made a real difference. Much smoother at 25 mph. If I did 32-35, I could still bounce myself out of my seat. Did a lot of playing with the tab settings. Should not be underestimated the steering correction available with these! That was very nice to not have to fight against the jets all the way across the lake. Adjust the tabs and she runs straight! Also, big difference crossing wakes. Similar to the chop story, you can still hit a big one and get a big bump. But the 'normal' wakes you almost don't feel and it certainly does not throw the steering off.

Get ya some!

Debating getting some of these as well. Anyone have any experience with these and a transom mounted transducer? Any issues there? Also, does putting on trim tabs blick the use of the yamaha wakebooster wedge?
