Headed to Destin in July - Looking for Advice and Tips

Local from the area. You’re in for quite a ride from Freeport to Destin. Always remember afternoon thunderstorms pop up quick this time of year. Mostly everyone has mentioned the good spots. LuLu’s, LJ’s, Crab Island, AJ’s. Seas in the bay get about 1-2 feet. Can get a little rough in the afternoons. For the Pensacola trip I would recommend Marler Park on Okaloosa Island or Liza Jackson in Fort Walton beach. I make it on fuel from both ramps. Liza Jackson is where I’m putting in the morning of the show.
