HELP. BOAT WONT START

Just noticed now that there’s a puddle of water in the battery tray ??

Can you check the voltage?

If that water is from your battery use caution handling it. It will eat holes in most materials.

Can you check the voltage?
Yea. Battery is good. Brand new , fully charged.

Highly doubt that would affect anything unless your battery is cracked.

You need to start checking the power distribution panel, and any applicable breakers and fuses. Look for obvious trips and burnouts. If no luck finding something obvious, get yourself a Multimeter if you don't already have one.

Are you able to check voltage leaving the battery switch?

Check fuse in positive battery cable, if there is one.

Update … found 2 fuses blown , replaced them and boat starts but the radio won’t turn on. Pressed the reset and still nothing. Checked all the fuses and all are good.

At least the engine started. Is the Connext screen now working? All gauges working? Everything but the stereo working?

Yes everything is working but the stereo, and found that fuse in behind and blown as well.
thanks for all the help everyone.

Enjoy the water tomorrow with the family!

It’s the starter solenoid! I had this problem with mine at the beginning of this summer. Literally turn the key and nothing happens.

Dealer said they couldn’t get the part because of their supplier….so I ordered the part my self and then the dealer installed it. This is a warranty issue.

If you turn the key enough…eventually it will work. But you just have to get it to make the connection.

Glad to hear it was fuses.

Radio has a fuse also, but where is it?

glad it worked out for you. Bizarre that you would blow multiple fuses like that.

Yea absolutely weird that multiple fuses were blown.
the stereo fuse is on the back of the stereo next to the two plugs.

Carry some spare fuses, it is odd that theyvall blew. Be wary that something else may be amiss.
