Is it possible the battery wires momentarily touched the opposite pole when you changed it? This might explain blown fuses.
Dive under the helm and look for inline fuses for the radio.

I just stumbled across this...I agree with @buckbuck. He is an electrician...Maybe a missed negative/positive battery connection. Or you blew a fuse somehow. Pulling the pump does not have anything electrical to do with it. What does work, electrically on the boat? If it was a neutral safety, lanyard, or clean out switch other stuff would power up. Did you do anything electrical prior to pulling the pump. Like disconnecting the battery.

Edit: missed all the responces last night, a day late and a dollar short. Glad you found the issue. Oh and [USERGROUP=9]@HELP[/USERGROUP] still does not work.

Update to this tread :
It is 100% possible that when I placed the new battery in the compartment that the positive and negative touched opposite poles , the wires were on top of the battery for a few moments before hooking it up, because I was hooking two batteries for a parallel battery hookup.
replaced the fuses , and all is well and working fine now.

Fuses will also blow if a circuit is energized when the batteries are connected in series rather than parallel. Ohm's Law.
