Hot New JetBoatPilot Thrust Vector Wake Twin Engine Surf Video!!!! This You Got To SEE!!!

Memorial Day ship would be tight as I want to install the following weekend!

:)

You mean installing weekend before memorial day :)

Weekend after, unfortunately as the boat doesn’t come out of hibernation until Memorial Day itself

That's just sad, and you live in God's country!!

Heck, we may have ice still on the lakes until then, but I'm getting all my farkles installed at home well in time of ice out!! That and I truly do enjoy driveway boating until then.

We actually have 60 degrees, sun and snow on the ground in Fargo today! It feels great and will rush the thaw for sure! This is after over a foot of new snow last Thursday!!

Surf season cannot come soon enough!

Yeah...since I primarily boat up in Lake Tahoe (6200 feet), anything much before Memorial Day runs a strong risk of freezing temps. So I bring the boat at Memorial Day, go on a camping trip at a low-level lake, and then put it in Tahoe for the Summer about the middle of June. There is stays until Labor Day when we bring it back down and go on a couple more trips in the fall before it gets cold again. In that short session, we still manage to put 60-80 hours on it each season.

I hear ya, my sister has lived in SLT for 25 years or so. She's in Meyers now. That lake does not warm up, except for the shallow bays, and even then it's cold. Pretty much the same temp year around. What an amazing place to boat.

@Matt Phillips I boat at Tahoe for the season with my 242 as well. Will hopefully be putting it in the water Memorial Weekend (did last year). Let’s meet up one day!

I feel like Tahoe needs to be on my bucket list

@JetBoatPilot for those that pre-ordered will there be a way to select which color we want?
It was mentioned in a post, that you will need to call and there is a small up charge for Red or Blue.

Definitely....I'm in South Lake and at the Beach & Harbor Assn.

Tahoe is a Great Lake and very beautiful...definitely a bucket list lake to boat on. It can get busy though with lots of boat swell, and wind.

Are you able to do some water sports out there? (seeing how cold- water suits?) My sister and brother-in-law just bought a vacation home on Lake Tahoe...Their place is at Carnelian Bay- Right by Granite Rd. Hoping to make it out this summer. I also need to convince them to get a boat, but they are working on getting a bouy first.

Crickets* this dropped to 3rd page :/

@Brad460 I didn't see your reply above.

Tahoe is a beautiful lake. If you want to wakeboard the best time is in the morning before the wind and boat traffic churns up the lake. Carnelian Bay is on the North End of the lake and I typically boat at the South End (22 miles long). I typically use a 3ml shorty when getting in the lake as it's usually only around 70 degrees.

Make sure to look into how expensive the decontamination and inspection fees are. It's $95 for the sticker and $40 decontamination fee going both in and out. Otherwise a really cool lake. We watched a 28 foot Searay sink off Zephyr Cove when we were there. The owner had attached the anchor to the stern so it couldn't shift with the heavy waves and wind.
