I’m trying to find out how the hell to get to the backside of this bolt to tighten... Its the front grab rail rear bolt that is almost completely backed out and very wobbly... I’ve tried to see how far my stubby “T-Rex Arms” can reach up through the Storage Compartment. But it’s not even close...

Have you tried removing the speak to get access to the back one? If that works then you’ll at least know what size socket to try and get lucky with a long extension for the front one.
Thats how I figured out how to tighten the tower on my e series. Hope that helps.

The answer to your question is sitting on the seat. I had my son lay down in the compartment and reach up with a socket . He was able to reach it with 10” extension but I didn't have a deep well socket . Sending him back in today . He was wrenching the tower bolts yesterday

Removing the speaker helps, just four screws. You might also want to loosen the bolts that hold the black plastic insert in, those nine or 10 mm but they are annoyingly long so a ratcheting flat wrench is probably best for those, they also have a spring washer and the regular washer. Once loosened up that insert pops even partially. Wearing long sleeves will help alleviate getting fiberglass shards under your skin.

Tower bolt nuts are 3/4 and you definitely need very deep socket and I use 24 inch extension, removing speaker helps guide the wrench. I would definitely tighten them periodically, like once a year or when needed.

Thanks guys for all the great responses; I knew I could count on this place... Looks like I’ll be taking her apart piece by piece on Wednesday evening after work as we have a full boat scheduled to go out for the 4th and I really don’t want to see anymore fiberglass damage from the handle scratching it all up... I’m going to put red locktite on before tightening back up...
