When I have company on the boat, pre-launch I captain things to order and ask : Who knows the #1 and only rule of a jetboat ??......silence......EVERYONE is in charge of not letting a rope go under the boat.....

Yep, I think I would be proud to have sitcker on the boat for bone heads, rope sucks, rescued boats, forgotten plugs, ect ect. Like merit badges, both good and bad, LOL
I joined last year, well, my wife did, but I got to fix it.
I find the best tool was the saw on a leatherman multitool. This was the no-stretch wakeboard cord,. And I could not cut it away in the boat, I had to pull the jet . Once it was out, I found the leatherman, and now i think I could probably cut it away through the hatch, but hopefully I never have to try You can see in the last picture that it actually melted the shielding. What a mess
Joined the club last night. After 2 months of use, finally happened. Wake board tow rope (that was at the low tow point on my SX).
I would have probably been freaking out, but after reading all the other stories I new it wouldn't be a big deal. Sure, it took a while. We were probably floating there for nearly an hour, unwinding, cutting, unwinding, etc. But we got it out and all was fine
ROFLMAO... @Port0222 , I would ban a rope I couldn't cut out under 30 minutes!!! Dang son, that it a mess! I have been a member since my first Yamaha. They say half the cure is admitting it!
